Veterans Day is a U.S. public holiday observed annually on Nov. 11 that honors military veterans who served in the United States Armed Forces.

Enterprise Attendance Center’s Student Council will host a complimentary drive-through breakfast for veterans and their spouses Wednesday from 8-9:30 a.m.

The Daily Leader office will remain open on Wednesday. Newspapers will be delivered on Tuesday instead of Wednesday due to USPS not running mail routes. Newspapers will be available on the racks Tuesday.

In observance of the Veterans Day holiday, the following offices will be closed Wednesday:

• Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce.

• The U.S. Post Office.

• The Mississippi Highway Patrol Driver License exam office.

• Brookhaven city offices.

• Lincoln and Copiah county offices.

• Wesson city offices.

• Meadville city offices.

• Monticello city offices.

• Franklin and Lawrence county offices.
