Rains fell heavily over East Monticello Street and Brookhaven High School as the edges of Hurricane Sally began to reach the city Tuesday afternoon. Earlier believed to be on a path that could severely impact the area, Sally moved eastward Tuesday morning with its eye toward Mobile.
