Community gathers to honor Martin Luther King Jr.

Former Brookhaven Police Chief Bobby Bell led the 16th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade Sunday. The parade, sponsored by the Brookhaven/Lincoln County branch of the NAACP, included several cars, trucks, vans and motorcycles. Pastor Davion Brown chauffeurs Rachael Hamilton and her daughter Madeline Rose Hamilton in 1966 Mustang convertible owned by Robert Tyler of R.E. Tyler Funeral Home.

Former Brookhaven Police Chief Bobby Bell led the 16th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade Sunday. The parade, sponsored by the Brookhaven/Lincoln County branch of the NAACP, included several cars, trucks, vans and motorcycles. The parade, sponsored by the Brookhaven/Lincoln County branch of the NAACP, included several cars, trucks, vans and motorcycles. Several of the paraders rode ATVs and motorcycles as they made their way along South Second Street.
