The Brookhaven Academy Lady Cougars begin play in the MAIS 4A State Tournament Saturday morning. The tournament will take place at the Sportsplex in Magee and concludes on Monday. The first round begins for BA Saturday at noon when the Lady Cougars (29-6-1) take on the East Rankin Lady Patriots(18-10-1). The winner of that game will then play the winner of Magnolia Heights and Silliman at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
