Parade commemorates Patriot Day

The Wesson Baptist Church preschool classes of 2-, 3- and 4-year-olds paraded along Hwy. 51 Wednesday for their annual Patriot Day Parade. The children, with help from adults, decorated bikes, scooters and wagons for the three-block trek from the Baptist church parking lot to Church Street, where the parade turned around and headed back to the church. About 80 people gathered for the parade, including three kindergarten classes from Wesson Attendance Center. At top, pictured are David Fore and A.C.
