The cardiac Cats did it again as Bogue Chitto (2-1) picked up another close home win, this time over Springfield High (Louisiana) 23-20 on Troy Smith Field Friday night.

Coach Gareth Sartin and his team led by that score 23-20 at halftime, but the second half would be ruled by the defenses as neither team would score. A late interception iced the game for the Bobcats as junior Tristan Buffington picked off a pass that sealed the win.

BC won a similarly thrilling game against Salem in their season opener at home. The Bobcats will host the unbeaten Mize Bulldogs (3-0) Friday at home.
