The Hornets Boys Club 11U travel baseball team recently won a USSSA World Series Tournament in Orange Beach, Alabama. The team also finished second in four previous tournaments this summer. All the team members are students at Loyd Star and they serve together in community service projects in addition to playing baseball. One of those services involved bringing dessert to residents of the BeeHive Homes of Brookhaven on Easter Sunday.
