Funeral services for Betty Sue Fauver Young, formerly of Brookhaven, are Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home, 8730 Sims Road

Eight Mile, Alabama. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.

Valhalla Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 3, 2019, from 11 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Betty Sue Fauver Young was born July 11, 1940, in Brookhaven to Ed Fauver and Maude Butler Fauver. She passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, June 29, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Norman Rayborn Young; son Norman R. Young  Jr., (Buddy) ; brothers Danny George Fauver, Ed Fauver (Jr) and sister, Annie Pearl Fauver Roberts.

Mrs. Young is survived by her three children Susan Young, Jane (Mark) Workman and Vickie (Jim) Buettner; one brother, Don (Rhonda) Fauver; four grandchildren, Kristie, Holly, Jimmy and Angela; three great-grandchildren, Destiny, Ella Kate and Shawn, and many other family and friends.
