Services for Mr. Wayne C. Rushing Sr., of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2019, at Riverwood Family with burial at Ruth Cemetery.

Visitation is from 5 until 9 p.m. Saturday, June 29, at Riverwood.

Mr. Wayne C. Rushing Sr., 65, passed away June 27, 2019, at Baptist Hospital

in Jackson. He was born on Nov. 17, 1953, to the late Essey C. Rushing Sr. and Myrtle McClelland Rushing.

Preceding him in death were his parents; sister, Charlene Carmichael and a host of aunts and uncles.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lona Mae Rushing; sons, Wayne Rushing Jr., Glenn Hodges and wife Carol Ann, Greg Hodges and wife Susie and Paul Dunn Jr. and wife Denise; daughters, Melissa Barrett and husband Richie, Kami Burage and husband Calvin, Rhonda Pelligrin and husband Rod and Debra Messenger and husband Ted; brother, Essey C. Rushing Jr. and sisters, Brenda Cline and Linda Watkins. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
