BA Cougars are back-to-back MAIS AA State Champs

Photo by Cliff Furr Brookhaven Academy took an 8-7 victory Thursday night in game two of the MAIS AA state championship series against Tri-County Academy.With the win, the Cougars swept the series after taking game one 15-13 Tuesday night.  The Cougars swept Tri-County last year to win the championship. Junior Nick Ogden hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh that scored junior Brady Spring. Check the weekend edition for expanded coverage of Thursday night’s game.
