Percy O. Wilson of Brookhaven holds a pair of rabbits recently harvested during the 2019 season. The 82 year old Wilson, is a former long-time employee at The Daily Leader. Less than two years he was severely injured in a tractor accident that required several leg and hip surgeries.

“Mr. Percy is an inspiration to the Holly Springs community,” said Tommy Franklin. “He’s lucky to be walking again and it’s awesome to see him enjoying the outdoors again.”
