Brookhaven police are investigating a case of vandalism done to the patrol car of a Lincoln County sheriff’s deputy at his home in the city.
Lincoln County Sheriff Steve Rushing said the deputy noticed early Wednesday morning a window had been broken out of his cruiser, though no items were stolen from within the vehicle. The deputy is working with Brookhaven police to determine who, and why, the window was shattered.
