Funeral services for Jimmy Earl Alexander, of Bogue Chitto, are Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, at noon at Topeka Baptist Church with burial at Jayess Baptist Church Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.
Mr. Alexander, 71, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018. He was born Jan. 20, 1947, to Ford Earl Alexander and Clarice A. Alexander. He was an electrician for Georgia Pacific and a member of Topeka Baptist Church where he was a deacon and treasurer.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and sister, Betty Carol Shoemake.
Survivors are his wife of 30 years, Cheryl Brumfield Alexander; sister, Dianne Alexander Bourne and husband, Harold; three nephews, John L. Shoemake Jr., Gregory H. Bourne, Alexander L. Shoemake; niece, Gretchen B. Reed; and brother-in-law, John L. Shoemake Sr.
