Funeral services for Pauline King, of Bude, are Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Bude First Baptist Church in Bude, at 10 a.m. with burial at Midway Cemetery in Meadville. Rev. Rodney Jones and Rev. Rex Wilburn will officiate the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be today, July 17, 2018, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. King, 87, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at Meadville Nursing Home with her loving family by her side. She was born Aug. 22, 1930, in Adams County, to Mr. Paul E. Jones and Mrs. Clara Shell Jones.

She was a longtime member of Bude First Baptist Church where she faithfully attended and sang in the church choir. She was also a longtime member of the Homemakers Club. She loved to cook for her family and was known for her famous homemade yeast rolls that everyone loved. She never met a stranger, always loved to fellowship with friends and make new acquaintances.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband; Charles Lindbergh King; two sisters, Molly E. Myers and LaJuana Smith; and one brother, John Paul Jones.

Survivors are her daughter, Karen King and partner, Michael Stiklestad, of Bude; son, Bill King and wife, Pamela Gayle, of St. Joseph, Louisiana; three grandchildren, Will King and wife, Katherine, of Olla, Louisiana, Lindy Cline and husband, David, of Granite Falls, North Carolina, William David Johnson, of Diamond Head, South Carolina; three great-grandchildren, Abagail King, Gracie Sigmon and Catherine Sigmon, and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Preston Lemoine, Tony Mullins, Caleb Lehman, Vance Woodcock, Ronnie Smith and Will King. Honorary pallbearers are Rev. Sullivan, Poochie Kent, Charlie Myers, Johnny Wayne Dillon, and Bomar McGehee.
