Funeral services for Marjorie D. McKee, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, April 28, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Wellman Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto with burial at Wellman Cemetery. Bro. Thomas Wicker and Bro. Jeff Davis will officiate the services. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be today, April 27, 2018, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue Saturday, April 28, 2018, from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Mrs. McKee, 90, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018, with her loving family by her side. She was born Sept. 20, 1927, in Walthall County, to Dewey Reid and Mattie Reid White. She loved her church and serving God. She was a lifelong teacher of the children’s Sunday school class, vacation bible school teacher and director, as well as the church librarian. She enjoyed playing cards and games in general. She was an avid needleworker and crafter. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill McKee; parents; sons, Ricky McKee and Carroll McKee; step-father, Claude White; brothers, Felder Reid, Paul Reid and Albert White; grandson, Ed McKee; and great-granddaughter, Rachel Little.

Survivors are her daughters, Elizabeth Little and Marilyn Killingsworth and husband, Ronnie; son, Ronnie Glenn McKee; 11 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
