Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a vehicle accident at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday at Grenn and East Monticello streets. A car hit a utility pole. The victim was deceased.

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 18 calls Tuesday. Six were transfers, with three to Jackson and three to Pike County.

There were 12 emergency calls; six medical, with four in the city and four in the county; two traumas, with two in the city and two in the county; and four MVAs in the county.
