Wolves 5-0 with win over Millsaps

The Copiah-Lincoln Community College Wolves remain undefeated in the 2018 season after a 10-0 win over Millsaps JV at Smith-Wills Stadium in Jackson on Monday.
The Wolves blew the game wide open in the bottom the third, as Co-Lin plated five runs, and the Wolves eventually run-ruled the Majors. Co-Lin out-hit Millsaps 10-2 on the day while committing zero errors in the field.
In the third, an RBI single from Hayden White, an RBI double from CJ Estave and two-run homer from Jaylyn Williams gave the Wolves a 5-0 advantage. Austin O’Flynn added another run in the bottom of the fourth after he stole third and scored on an error. O’Flynn reached base earlier in the inning on a fielding error.
Another error in the bottom of the sixth gave the Wolves another insurance run after Ryan Zimmerman led off the inning with a double.
The Wolves final three runs came in the bottom of the seventh, with a two-run homer from Chandler Dillard and an RBI double from Williams.
Christian Day pitched the Wolves to victory. He lasted six innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out eight and walking zero. Jordan Bowden threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Castle took the loss for Millsaps after allowing three hits and five runs over three innings, striking out three and walking zero.
Co-Lin totaled ten hits. White led the Wolves with three hits in four at bats. Co-Lin stole seven bases during the game, as two players stole more than one. Craig Bradley led the way with three.
