Charity Anding Case and Mark Case announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Markie Ann Case, of Brookhaven, to James Frederick King, of Brookhaven.

He is the son of Fred and Etta King.

The bride-elect is granddaughter of Lillian Watson Case of Wesson, the late Homer Clayton Case, Bonnie Anding of Brookhaven and the late Maxie Anding Sr.

Miss Case is a graduate of Enterprise Attendance Center and is a student at Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

She is employed at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.

He is the grandson of the late James Lambert Sr., the late Delton Ray King, and Mary Jane Elizabeth King of Brookhaven.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Enterprise Attendance Center and Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

He is employed by Oddee Smith Construction.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Clear Branch Baptist Church in Wesson. A reception will follow.

Friends and family are invited to attend the wedding and reception.
