Virginia ‘Jean’ Case Wilson

Graveside service for Virginia “Jean” Case Wilson, of Brookhaven, will be Friday, Oct. 20, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Riverwood Memorial Park. Rev. Skip Atchison will officiate. Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Wilson, 88, died Monday, Oct. 16, 2017, at her residence. She was born Nov. 11, 1928, to George Dewey Case and Ruby Phillips Case. She was fondly known as Jean her whole life. She married her husband of 62 years, Bennie Frank Wilson in December 1950.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Nell Case Dickey and Maurice Case Franklin; brothers, Gerald Case & Sherrill Case.

Survivors are her son, Philip F. Wilson; daughter, Karyl W. McGraw and husband, Herman, all of Brookhaven; sister, Rose Case Wallace, of Natchez; granddaughter, Sarah M. Spring and husband Justin; great-granddaughters, Madelyn, Isabella and Abygail, all of McCall Creek; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice Ministries, especially, Cathy Sutton, Cathy Crosby, Sherry Britt, Jennie Jo Pepper, Virginia Collins, Sally Stevens, Joyce Rice, Beth Brown, Angie Davis, Susie Waldrop, Sonia Travis and the Rev. Chris Richardson for their love and devotion to Mrs. Wilson’s Care.

Up with blessings as her hands touch his, and she walks into a heaven well deserved.
