Tillmon and Rosemary Bishop announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Anna Bishop of Brookhaven to Jerry Christopher Collado of Jackson.

He is the son of Jerry and Claudette Collado.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Thad and Hilda Owens of Brookhaven, Mrs. Ruth Oliver Owens of Brookhaven, Mrs. Betty Jean Bishop and the late Elder B.T. Bishop Jr. of Meadville.

The prospective groom is the grandson of  the late Sebastian and Maria Carco of Boston, Massachusetts, and the late Helen Aviles and Hilton Collado of New York City, New York.

She is a 2006 graduate of Brookhaven Academy and a 2011 graduate of Mississippi College with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse.

He is a 1994 graduate of Lima Baptist School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Alabama with a master of science degree in nursing. He is employed as a family/acute care pediatric nurse practitioner.

He is the father of Dante, Kaden, Rylan and Layla Collado.

The couple will exchange vows on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, in Jackson. Matthew Bishop will officiate.
