Funeral services for Kermit Smith, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Williams Mortuary in Brookhaven. Burial will be Monday, Oct. 2, 2017, in Hattiesburg at Highland Cemetery.

Mr. Smith, 77, died Monday, Sept. 18, 2017, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born Jan. 12, 1940, to Allen Smith and Yvonne Singleton Smith.
