Mrs. Floyd, 80, died Sept. 6, 2017, at Baton Rouge General Hospital. She was born on Jan. 19, 1937, to Clarence C. Case and Hallie Vaughn Case. She was a loving mother, grandmother and homemaker to not only her children and family, but also her children’s friends — her “extended family” — whom she loved as her own. She was a devout Christian and accomplished cook, spending many years serving her loved ones with her labor of love in the food she prepared. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with loved ones and her love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Marcel Case; and sons, Lloyd Mike Calcote Jr. and Kelly C. Calcote.

Survivors are her daughter, Hallie Suzette Calcote Davis and husband Walter; two grandchildren, Ashley Deaton and husband Casey, and Kelly Christina Tilton and husband Matt; and five great-grandchildren, Avery, Riley, Zachary Deaton, Caleb Stickley and Jaxon Tilton.
