Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Michelle Harper of Brandon announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Harper, to Jennings Mills.

Mills is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve and Juli Mills of Bogue Chitto.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Jack Varner, and Sue Varner.

Miss Harper is a 2011 graduate of Brandon High School. She is a 2015 graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is currently employed by Rankin County Schools.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Drs. Forrest and Janis Tutor, and Jane Mills.

Mr. Mills is a 2011 graduate of Brookhaven Academy and a 2017 graduate of Hinds Community College with a degree in landscape management technology.

The couple will exchange vows Saturday, May 27, 2017, at 6 p.m. at Camp of the Rising Son in French Camp. A reception will follow at Knox House in Kilmichael.

Bridal attendants will be Maggie Harper, Jessica Harper, Britney Taylor, Kathleen Hackett, Anna Langford, Hilary Taft and Meagan Parnell. 

Honorary bridesmaids will be Laurie Mills King, Mary Claire Mills Winford, Sarah Beth Mills Walker, Caroline Mills and Julianna Mills.

Grooms attendants will be Steve Mills, Garrett Wallace, Austin McFarland, Cater Wood, Lance Spring, Houston Hanna and Grant Burke.

Officiant will be Reece Vaughn.
