Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a lifting assistance at 9:46 a.m.  Saturday on Avenue A. They also responded to one false smoke alarm at 7:11 p.m. on Dissa Street Saturday and a cancelled call on Short Street at 10:24 a.m. Sunday. They assisted King’s Daughters Medical Center with a wreck at 9:31 p.m. Sunday on Callender Road. No injuries were reported.

The Wesson Police Department reported no activity Friday-Sunday.

The Copiah County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Friday-Sunday.

The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department reports were not available Friday-Sunday.

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M reported no activity Friday-Sunday.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 23 calls Saturday-Sunday. Seven were transfers, with two in the city, four to Jackson and one to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. There were 16 emergency calls; Eight medical, with two in the city and six in the county; four traumas, with three in the city and one in the county; four MVAs, with three in the city and one in the county.
