The Wesson Police Department reported no activity Tuesday.

The Copiah County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Tuesday.

The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department responded to a grass fire Tuesday at 12:55 p.m. on I-55. They also responded to a false alarm Tuesday at 4:18 p.m. on Hwy. 51. No injuries were reported.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday on I-55.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 17 calls Tuesday. Six were transfers, with three in the city, two to Jackson and one to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. There were 11 emergency calls; seven medical, with four in the city and three in the county; three traumas, with one in the city and two in the county; one MVA in the city.
