The Ole Brook Power Lifting team finished second in the Pearl Invitational meet Saturday at Pearl High School.

Brookhaven, a 5A school, competed against teams mostly from the 6A division and placed ahead of most of the schools in the competition.
“We are really starting to gel as a team right now. The guys are locked in,” Brookhaven power lifting head coach Russ Britt said. “I’d like for the guys to continue to work hard as we prepare for our Regional meet on Feb. 18. It was nice to finally beat Pearl.”
