Woman injured in hit and run on MLK

Brookhaven police are looking for the driver of a car who hit a pedestrian in the street Saturday and kept going.
The female victim was walking alone across Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard North shortly after 6:30 p.m. when she was struck by the vehicle, Police Chief Bobby Bell said.
The woman was taken to King’s Daughters Medical Center where doctors found a fragment of the car’s broken reflector in her leg, he said.
She was treated and released.
The victim did not see the color, make or model of the vehicle.
