Funeral services for Luna Mae Harper, of Brookhaven, are Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at  Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017, from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Harper, 72, died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017, in Jefferson Davis County. She was born Jan. 24, 1944, to Loney Lee Martin and Ida Mae Lambert Martin.

Mrs. Harper retired from the Navy Exchange Retail System and was a member of Union Hall Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and a brother, Howard Lewis Martin Sr.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Brown Harper; sons, Christopher Wayne Harper and wife Dianna Lynn Harper, Charles Patrick Harper and Tracey Mary Kleppe and Jerry Randall Harper and wife Breckin Marjory Harper; brothers, Robert Lee Martin, John Edward Martin, David Earl Martin Sr. and James Luther Martin; sisters, Eva Marie Perrin and Mary Martin Renard; 11 grandchildren, Christopher Burke, Zack Harper, Sage Harper, Jonah Harper, Corey Harper, Christopher Kleppe, Patrick Harper, Lauren Harper, Emma Grace Harper, Anna Harper and Eli Harper and four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Aubrey, Xander and Skye.
