Funeral services for Margie Coker Lea, of Brookhaven, are Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, at 9 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lea, 88, died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, at her residence. She was born May 31, 1928, to Clyde William Coker and Inez Furr Coker. She was a cytotechnologist for King’s Daughters Medical Center, housewife and a mother of two. She also was a member of Easthaven Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Ivo H. Lea; parents; and sisters, Barbara Kay Coker and Anne Harris Keys.

Survivors are her daughters, Debbie Crites and husband David, and Susan Lea George and husband Michael; one brother, Clyde Coker Jr.; sisters, Doris Coker Lea and husband Roland, Iris Coker Rudman Smith and husband Allen “Cotton,” and Carolyn Coker Wilson and husband Wayne; two grandchildren, Jennifer Lea George Mixon and Wesley Thomas George and numerous nieces and nephews.
