Funeral services for Altus “Jewel” Buchanan are Friday, June 10, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church in Monticello with burial in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Michael Smith will officiate. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Buchanan, 84, died Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Lawrence County Hospital. He was born June 3, 1932, in Lawrence County.
