Graveside services for Charlie Francis Gill are Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Hepzibah Cemetery. Bro. Eddie Myers will officiate. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was Monday, April 4, 2016, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Oakvale Baptist Church.

Mr. Gill, 76, died Saturday, April 2, 2016, at his residence in Silver Creek. He was born April 21, 1939, in Marion County.

Mr. Gill was a retired truck driver.  In his retirement he enjoyed going to the Oakvale Store and visiting with people as they would come and go, he was called by many the Mayor of Oakvale.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert E. and Ida Mae Prine Gill; four brothers, Robert, Billy, Joe and Willie Gill; and one infant sister, Evelyn Gill.

Survivors are his wife, Jimmie Louise Johnson Gill of Foxworth; sisters, Jewel Bryant of Silver Creek and Mary Stuckey of Columbia.
