The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a washing machine fire at 8:36 a.m. Tuesday on Georgia Avenue. No injuries were reported. They also responded to a computer fire at 10:17 a.m. Tuesday on N. Railroad Avenue. No injuries were reported.

 

Monticello reports

The Monticello Police Department reported no activity for Tuesday.

The Monticello Fire Department reported no activity for Tuesday.

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department responded to eight calls for Tuesday.

 

 

Copiah County reports

The Wesson Police Department reported four citations for Tuesday.

The Copiah County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity for Tuesday.

The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department responded to a grass fire at 3:17 p.m. Tuesday on Tower Road. No injuries were reported. They also responded to a single vehicle accident with injuries at 12:23 a.m. Tuesday on I-55 at mile marker 50.

 

Highway Patrol reports

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M reported no activity for Tuesday.

 

King’s Daughters Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reports 14 calls for Tuesday. Six were transfers, with five to Jackson and one to Pike County. There were eight emergency calls; seven medical, with three in the city and four in the county; and one trauma in the county.
