Arrests

The Lincoln County Jail Docket for Monday was as follows:

• Amber Ard, 09-06-77, of 1042 Highway 51 SE, Brookhaven — arrested for possession of a controlled substance, driving while license is suspended, no tag and no proof of liable insurance by Brookhaven Police Department

• Jeremy Cupstid, 02-18-87, of 146 Skylane Drive, Pearl — arrested for murder by BPD

King’s Daughters 

Ambulance Report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service had 11 calls Tuesday; three were transfers, with one to Vidalia, Louisiana, one to Hattiesburg and one to Jackson. There were eight emergency calls, with four medical, two in the city and two in the county. There were four motor vehicle accidents two in the city and two in the county.

Local weather stats

The Wastewater Treatment Facility in Brookhaven reported a high of 63 degrees for Tuesday and a low of 51. The temperature at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday was 51 degrees. There was 1.22 inches of precipitation.

River stages

On Tuesday the Mississippi River stage at Vicksburg, where the flood stage is 43 feet, was 28.0, up 1.0 feet in the past 24 hours. In Natchez, where the flood stage is 48 feet, was 34.9, up 0.4 feet in the past 24 hours. The Pearl River stage at Jackson, where the flood stage is 12 feet, was 10.9, down 1.1 feet in the past 24 hours.
