Funeral services for Etta F. Callender of Wesson are 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at Rosehill Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Nov. 22 from 5 until 9 p.m. at Riverwood.

Mrs. Callender, 92, died Nov. 21, 2015 at her residence. She was born on Feb. 19, 1923 to Robert and Hattie Franklin.

She was retired as a cashier for Fred’s Dollar Store and was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnson “Baby” Callender; son, Robert Clifton “Grinder” Callender, brothers, W.O. “Skipper” Franklin and Haze Franklin; and two great-great-grandchildren, Jadin K. Case and Bella G. Montgomery.

Survivors are her son, Johnston “Clayton” Callender Jr. and wife, Faye; daughter, Janice C. Boling and husband, Danny; beloved sister-in-law, Ola “Butch” Franklin of Mitchellsburg, Kentucky; beloved double-first cousin, Mina Sisk of Tocca, Georgia; three grandchildren, Carlene B. Montgomery and husband, Mark; Dana B. Case and husband, Kris; John P. Callender and wife, Cindy; eight great-grandchildren, Timmy Montgomery and wife, Cherish; Marcy M. Ball and husband, Ramsey; Kristin W. Quinn and husband, Hunter; Lakin Wallace, Kayne and Dane Case; Clay Callender and Madison Callender; great-great-grandchildren, Gauge Montgomery, Maci Lynn Ball and Addison Rae Quinn; nieces and nephews, Kaye Lamb, Suzanne Autman, Nita Nettles, Doug Franklin and John W. Beacham.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the New Hope U.M.C. Large Print Bible Fund or the youth deptartment.
