Clyde Ellis Case

Funeral services for Clyde Ellis Case are Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial in Heucks Retreat Baptist Church Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Bro. Ryan Thurman and Dr. Ken Kirk will officiate the services. Pallbearers are Michael Case, Jeremy Larimore, Clint Gerald, Glenn Cliburn, Alfred Brock and Larry Callendar. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015, from 5 until 8 p.m. and will continue Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015, from 12 until 1 p.m. preceding the service at Brookhaven Funeral Home.

Mr. Case, 87, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was born on Aug. 4, 1928, in Lincoln County.

Mr. Case was devoted to his family and loved spending time with them. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and eating out with his friends. He was a long-time member of Heucks Retreat Baptist Church and most recently served the Lord at Central Baptist Church where he was treasurer of his Sunday school class. He is the former owner and operator of Case’s TV Service in Brookhaven.

Mr. Case is preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Vivian Terry Case; and his parents, Willie and Annie Mae Case.

Survivors are his sons and daughters-in-law; Richard and Sharon of Houston, Texas, Greg and Patricia of Carencro, Louisiana and Darron and Kim of Madison; nine grandchildren, Libby, Crystal, Stella, Elizabeth, Kristina, Michael, Kelsey, Lauren and Grant; seven great-grandchildren, Case, Raelyn, Brynn, Maven, Julian, Alayna and Jack; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made either to St. Jude’s Children Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
