The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary that happened on Mt. Zion Road Tuesday afternoon.

The LCSD received a call at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday of a burglary on Mt. Zion Road. LCSD Sheriff Steve Rushing said a TV and a gun safe were stolen from the home. So far, there are no witnesses of the daytime burglary to reach out to for help. Rushing said this case is similar to one about a month ago on Pleasant Grove Road where a gun safe was also stolen.

“There are no definitive suspects on either, but we’re trying to get the word out there and get some help,” Rushing said.

Rushing asks that anyone with information on this or the Pleasant Grove burglary please report it to the sheriff’s office. Extra patrol has been initiated for the area.
