Graveside services for Kathleen Smith will be on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Chad Yarborough will be officiating the services.  Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Smith, 87, died Monday, Oct. 26, 2015, at Brook Manor Living Center in Brookhaven. She was born May 9, 1928, in Brookhaven to Lawrence and Melinda Dunnigan Smith.

She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and visiting with her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, JH Smith; daughter, Sharon Ann Smith; sister, Nita Faye Smith; and brothers, Maxie Smith and Burnell Smith.

Survivors are her sons, Harry Smith and wife, Judy, of West Monroe, Louisiana, Tracy Smith and wife, Connie, of Bogue Chitto and Kenny Smith of Brookhaven; sister, Clorene Boling of Brookhaven; grandchildren, Stephanie Leann Nations, Rory Lee Castille, Jeremy Paul Castille, Justin Hunter Smith, Casey Marie Armstrong and Cody Perritt; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
