Lawrence County (8-1, 3-0),  under the direction of second-year head coach Jaymie Palmer, is currently riding a seven-game winning streak after knocking off the South Pike Eagles 42-12 Friday in Magnolia.

This week, the Cougars are looking to extend their streak and maintain an undefeated record in division action as they visit Richland to battle the Rangers.

A.J. McLaurin was the top receiver for the Cougars with four catches for 62 yards. Marcus Atterberry caught two passes for 49 yards.

Defensively, T-Tez Cole and Azar Myles powered the Cougars with 17 tackles each. Rykendrick Harness had nine tackles and Jermaine Smith provided six tackles.
