Wesson invades Mount Olive

Wesson (2-3), coached by Ronald Greer, suffered a heart-breaking 14-10 homecoming loss last week, falling to the Raymond Rangers in Stone Stadium.
This week, the Cobras are looking to climb back into the win column when they travel to Mount Olive to take on the Pirates.
The Pirates (0-5), coached by Terrell Luckey, are currently on a five-game skid after losing to Resurrection Catholic 47-0.
Wesson’s top offensive performer last week against Raymond was Cornelius Barlow. He led the Cobras with 12 carries for 75 rushing yards and a touchdown. He also caught four passes from Peyton Burns for 37 yards. Jermaine James had 10 rushes for 55 yards.
Defensively, Kendrick Brown powered the Cobras with seven tackles. Bobby Pritchard had four tackles.
My prediction: The Cobras beat the Pirates 48-0.
