John David Boyte

Funeral services for John David Boyte will be 1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 25, 2015 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of the service at Riverwood.

Mr. Boyte, 77, of Brookhaven, died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was born Nov. 12, 1937, to Charlie Boyte and Lou Crane Boyte. He was a conservation officer for the Mississippi Department of Wildlife Fisheries and Parks. He was also a member of Mississippi Wildlife Law Enforcement Officers Association and Fair River Masonic Lodge No. 0203.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, J.Q. Boyte; and sisters, Winnie McCoy, Helen Brown, Billie Jean Roberts and Mary Lou Pate.

Survivors are his wife, Cheri Hughes Boyte; daughters, Corinne (Cricket) McNulty, Angela Wood; brother, R. W. Boyte; four grandchildren, Marlee Gunnell, Maddox Chambers, Donavon Davis and Kaci Davis; two great-grandchildren, Shantlee Davis and Landon Davis; and a special friend, Margie Rogers.
