Ty Hill, a 6-foot-1, 210-pound sophomore from Brookhaven, had an excellent game in his first start as a linebacker for the Jones County Junior College Bobcats.

Hill had six solo tackles, 10 assists for a total of 16 tackles and 1 TFL for four yards as the 19th-ranked Bobcats dropped a 42-20 decision to No. 16 Northwest Mississippi in the season opener on Aug. 29.
