The Lincoln County Jail Docket for Friday was as follows:

•  Christopher R. Hannah, 10-22-95, of 2573 Price Dale Drive, Bogue Chitto — arrested for shoplifting by the Brookhaven Police Department

•  Lambert L. Johnson, 01-18-56, of 2480 Jackson Liberty, Brookhaven — arrested for first offense DUI by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

•  Christopher G. Lofton, 10-31-90, 2564 Ramah Trail, McCall Creek — arrested for MDOC house arrest violation by the LCSO.

•  Syrenthia Miller, 09-22-61, of 300 Old Wesson Road, Brookhaven — arrested for disturbing the peace by the BPD.

•  Christopher A. Watson, 01-17-91, of 107 Adams Road, Brookhaven — arrested for driving with a suspended license, no proof of liability insurance, and resisting arrest by the LCSO.

Local weather stats

On Friday, the Mississippi River stage at Vicksburg, where the flood stage is 43 feet, was 15.6, down 0.6. In Natchez, where the flood stage is 48 feet, the stage was 23.3, down 0.5. The Pearl River at Jackson where the flood stage is 12.0 feet, the stage was 4.5, up 0.1.

Fire Department Report

The Brookhaven Fire Department reports no activity for Friday or early Saturday.

Monticello Reports

The Monticello Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire at 4:40 p.m. on Friday on 101 Jim Hearn Lane and returned to the station at 4:57 p.m. Monticello firefighters also responded to a rubbish fire at 6:07 p.m. on Friday on Jim Stevens Lane. Firefighters were advised it was a controlled burn and returned to the station at 6:21 p.m. Firefighters also responded to a motor vehicle accident on F.E. Sellers Highway at 2:54 a.m. Saturday to find both passengers out of the vehicle and returned to the station at 3:25 a.m.

Copiah County Reports

The Wesson Police Department reports no activity for Friday and early Saturday.

The Copiah County Sheriff’s Department reports were not available for Friday and early Saturday.

KDMC Ambulance Report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service had 16 calls; eight were transfers with two in the county, five to Jackson and one to Pike County. There were eight emergency calls; two were medical with one in the city and one in the county. There was one trauma in the city. Five motor vehicle accidents with one in the city and four in the county.
