Funeral services for David W. Spring are Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Meadville United Methodist Church with burial in Eddiceton Cemetery. Pallbearers are A.J. Spring, Steve Coleman, John Perkins, Curt Fussell, Grady Fleming, Brandon Moak and Dr. David Brayden. Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Williamson, Wesley Street, Hudson Street, Jeremy Street, Matt Magee, Caleb Coley, Anthony Steele, Walt Wilson, Chase Evans, Allin Kimbrough and Damien Accardo.

Rev. Mike Childs and Rev. Milton Whatley will officiate the services.  Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville on Friday, Sept. 4, 2015, from 5 until 8 p.m. and will continue at Meadville United Methodist Church on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, from 1 p.m. until the time of services.

Mr. Spring, 55, of Meadville, died on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015, at his home. Mr. Spring was born Feb. 24, 1960, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Arthur and Esther Prather Spring.

Mr. Spring was a respiratory therapist and ultrasound tech at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven. He was a member at Meadville United Methodist Church in Meadville. He loved working in his garden and tinkering with his old cars. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Esther Prather Spring.

Survivors are his wife of 37 years, Janet Godbold Spring; daughter, Christy Spring Street and husband, Jeremy, of Nashville, Tennessee; son, Todd Spring of Nashville; brothers, Harold Spring and wife, Joddie, of Meadville, and Arthur Spring and wife, Anna, of Ellicott City, Maryland; grandchildren, Wesley and Hudson Street; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to all the family and friends for their support and prayers.
