Wesson Cobras invade Sumrall

Wesson (0-1), coach by Ronald Greer, suffered a shocking 7-6 nail-biting defeat last week to McLaurin.
This week, the Cobras will be searching for a victory when they invade Sumrall to battle the Bobcats.
The Bobcats, coached by Shannon White, lost 19-0 last week to the Enterprise-Clarke Bulldogs.
Rhett Harvey led the Bobcats’ passing attack, completing 8-of-18 passes for 96 yards.
Wesson’s top offensive performer was Eric Rhymes with 18 carries for 92 yards. Cornelius Barlow had 10 carries for 46 yards and one touchdown.
Defensively, Bobby Pritchard, Kendrick Brown, Jemarcus Patterson and Davion Frye directed the Cobras with six tackles each.
Last year Wesson edged Sumrall 27-26.
My prediction: The Cobras will escape Sumrall with a 24-21 win.
