Funeral services for Betty Jo Norton are Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Sutton Cemetery. Harrigill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday, June 30, 2015, from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

Ms. Norton, 78, of Wesson, died Monday, June 29, 2015, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. She was born May 30, 1937 in Brookhaven to Ernest Bailey and Ruby Lee Hayes Bailey.

She was the manager of Country Junction Truck Stop in Wesson. She was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; sons, Nickie R. Norton, David “Juadon” Norton and James “Ladell” Norton; daughter, Betty Denise Norton; brother, Robert Bailey; and sister, Ernestine Smith.

Survivors are her son, Robert E. Norton of Slidell, Louisiana; sisters, Canelia Smith of Louisiana and Jereline Smith of Brookhaven; and one grandchild, Rachel Denise Norton.
