Ms. Jan Delaughter and Mr. Randy Delaughter announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Cynthia Brooke Delaughter, of Brookhaven, to Travis Donald Keene.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Butch Keene, of Brookhaven.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Irma Smith and the late Prentiss B. Smith, of Brookhaven, and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Delaughter, of Brookhaven.

He is the grandson of Donald and Hannah Keene, of Brookhaven, Mr. Russell Roesner and the late Rita Roesner, of Steger, Illinois.

The bride-elect is a 2010 graduate of Loyd Star Attendance Center and a 2012 graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College where she received an associate’s degree. She is also a 2014 graduate of Copiah-Lincoln associate’s degree nursing program. She is currently employed with King’s Daughters Medical Center emergency room.

The prospective groom is a 2011 graduate of Loyd Star Attendance Center. He is currently employed with Grand Isle Shipyard at Denbury.

The couple will exchange vows at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. A reception will follow at the Old Wesson School at 6 p.m.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and the reception.
