Mis Kinnaird, 16, of Smithdale, died on Monday May 18, 2015. She was born July 21, 1998, at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood to Shane Kinnaird, of Biloxi, and Brandy Kinnaird, of Smithdale.

Cheyenne had just completed her junior year at Franklin County High School in Meadville and was excited about starting her senior year this fall. At FHS she received the Art II award, worked with the soccer team and the Beta Club, and also served on the prom committee. She was scheduled to be inducted into the National Beta Club this fall for her senior year. She worked for the Franklin County Dixie Youth little league baseball organization. Cheyenne enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting and fishing. Most of all, she cherished her time with her friends and cousins. Cheyenne was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she learned to love the Lord and dedicate her life to follow Him.

Cheyenne leaves behind a loving family consisting of her parents; her mother’s fiance, James Wilson; brother, Bryan Cole Kinnaird; and maternal grandparents, Brian and Stacy Ellis; aunts and uncles, Chonda and Jay Ezell and Uncle Chris and Bridget Ellis, all of Smithdale; paternal grandparents, James and Deidra Kinnaird of Bastrop, Louisiana; special cousins, Nick, Shelly and Katie Grace Noworyta, of Loyd Star, Colby, Colten and Caden Ellis and Aubren Ezell, all of Smithdale.

Cheyenne Michelle Kinnaird will be greatly missed by a host of family, friends, community members, and also the FHS Class of 2016. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Cheyenne Kinnaird Memorial Fund at The Bank of Franklin or United Mississippi Bank.
