Funeral services for J.P. Porter are Saturday, May 9, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion M.B. Church with burial in the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday, May 8, 2015, from 1 until 6 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mr.   Porter, 74, of Brookhaven, died on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at his residence. He was born Dec. 13, 1940, in Lincoln County to Jimmie Porter and Mammie Lee Smith Porter.
