Garden Extravaganza coming soon

The Lincoln County Master Gardeners will host their annual Garden Extravaganza next Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Railroad Park. Vendors from Mississippi and adjoining states will have plant material and gardening related items for sale. Hamburgers and homemade ice cream will be available for purchase from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Nellie Neal, known as ‘The Garden Mama’ to her Saturday morning radio audience will give a talk from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce. Nellie will present ‘Top Down Color Year Round’. Find out how to orchestrate color in plants and hardscape to carry design elements throughout the garden and four seasons. Strategies and examples from her new book, ‘The Nonstop color Garden’ as well as tips from her recent book, ‘Month by Month Gardening: Deep South’. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
Come on down to Railroad Park next Saturday, April 18 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy some time outdoors, have a hamburger, purchase some beautiful plants and learn some great gardening tips and strategies from Nellie Neal, ‘The Garden Mama’.
