NATHANIEL WEATHERSBY / Saturday the Mississippi Mass Choir led an auditorium full of family members, friends, colleagues and members of the community in musical celebration of the life of Minister Thomas Shannon Webb at Alexander Junior High School. Webb, who died Friday, March 13, 2015, was a member of the Mississippi Mass Choir as well as the Webb Family Gospel Singers and Anointed Praise Choir. He also served as musician for Damascus Missionary Baptist Church, Hopewell M.B. Church and Mt. Wade Brotherhood. Webb became a minister while at Damascus M.B. Church and had recently become a member of Glory Hill Church of God in Christ where he served as musician.
